Potter Around the Bead Shop
We stock beads, findings and tools for beaders and jewellery makers. You will find a wide range of beads suitable for adults and children, together with tools, bead boards, wire, chain and a myriad of other jewellery supplies. If there is something you would like to see that we do not have in stock, please ask and we will try to source it for you. We have recently launched our online shop and are adding products each day so please check it out. There is a loyalty point scheme online and also discounts on bulk purchases in our online beading section. See individual products for details.
Potter Around at a Workshop
Our jewellery workshops run all day every Wednesday and on Tuesday evenings during Ladies’ Night. You are welcome to come and make your own piece in the company of other beaders or to make a specific project. The price for each session is £15 or alternatively, if you want to make your own item using the tools the price is £4.50 plus materials. You may bring your own or buy from us. All tools and drinks provided. One to one jewellery making tuition can be arranged if you are interested in making pieces to sell. These sessions are £25 per hour and are bookable in advance.
Jewellery Parties
Jewellery is also one of the options for our children’s parties and we are always happy to open the studio any evening if you would like to organise a night of jewellery making for you and your friends. Why not combine a night out with making yourself or a friend a present.
We’ll Make it For You
Making jewellery is great fun, but we appreciate that sometimes it’s nice to have a piece made for you. We have a stock of jewellery to choose from, all made locally in West Lothian, and can have pieces made to order.
Charm Bracelets and More
We also stock Pandora style bracelets and necklaces and an extensive range of Pandora style glass beads, charms, ceramic beads and stunning silver beads together with Thomas Szabo style bracelets and charms. We also stock all the findings you need to be able to attach a charm or bead to virtually any type of bracelet.
Potter Around Making Beads
If you fancy making your own beads, we can show you how to make beads out of clay, FIMO, shrink plastic and other materials. Some of these can be made on a drop in basis, while others are available as part of a workshop. Please just contact us for more details.
